Dear Suzy,
Greetings form Wyoming. This gift and note come out of the clear blue from someone you've never heard of...me! But there is a valid reason that I send it to you.
In the liner notes of my new CD, you will find that you are mentioned in the thank you section. I will explain.
A long time ago, I saw an old MorningStar video of you leading worship and doing some teaching. The freedom I saw in you at that time, really spoke to me and drew me in. Then a year or so later, my wife ordered Don Potter's video "Live at the Hard Rock Cafe". As I watched you, JoAnn McFatter, and Christine Potter worship and enter into a place of total freedom, I literally felt the religious spirit leave me, because it could not stand in the presence of what was emitting form my home theater system!!!
Therefore you, whom I only knew as Suzy Wills back then, pushed me to a new place. When you started into a different version of the "Blondie" song, any remnant of that spirit had to go and the Holy laughter with all it's healing came in.
Isn't it cool, that the Holy Spirit worked through you in an old video and transformed a life, formed a pastor and worship leader, took 41 years of secular music, and then launched this project?!? And how's this for being contrary to the religious spirit; All musicians on this CD are bar musicians who I still perform with on weekends, yet I co-pastor with my wife. The local churches don't know what to think of us, but the Spirit does and moves through us!
Suzy, I thank you and bless you for showing me total freedom and helping loose the chains. Please accept this gift as a small token of my appreciation... after all, you helped set the stage.
I am so happy for you that you have launched your own ministry and are now married, I wish you all the blessings of heaven and may you prosper in every way imaginable.
One fine day, I hope to meet you. I would love to be around that free Spirit in person. I am so very grateful to you and I send the love of Jesus.
Jim Krubeck, Cody, Wyoming
